<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having excellent workability for eliminating jamming in a join part in a document conveyance path and excellent visibility. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 50 is provided with the document reading device for reading images on both faces of a document. This device is provided with a join guide plate 100 for separating both conveyance paths from each other in the join part where a document conveyance path L from a document loading part and a conveyance path K from a document inversion part join. This device is provided with a first guide plate member 101 having such dimension that the join guide plate 100 is connected with a device main body by a hinge and does not come into contact with a lower guide plate when turning and a second guide plate member 102 connected with the first guide plate member by a hinge.
