<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working model having work plan libraries and production strategy libraries effective in planning the layout of manufacturing devices, conveyors, and storage devices in a semiconductor manufacturing factory, and a related simulation method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for simulating a production flow applied to a semiconductor manufacturing factory includes steps such as constructing a plurality of working plan blocks based on data about the operation of a plurality of production devices in the semiconductor manufacturing factory; integrating the working plan blocks into one or more working plan libraries; constructing a plurality of production strategy blocks based on data about the production of a plurality of production devices in the semiconductor manufacturing factory; integrating the production strategy blocks into one or more production strategy libraries; taking the data out of the production plan libraries and the production strategy libraries to construct the working model; and running production flow simulations using the working model for layout and planning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
