PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproducing device capable of skipping a video source to be reproduced from the end position of an identical scene section of early recording time to the end position of an identical-scene section of late recording time between the identical-scene sections during reproduction when the video source includes the sections of the same scene across a certain section in a section of a specified time or shorter. SOLUTION: The video reproducing device is equipped with a 1st means of indicating that a skip can be made when a reproduction position reaches a skip start position of pair data registered by a skip position specification processing means and a 2nd means of skipping the reproduction position to a skip end position of the pair data and erasing the indication showing that the skip can be made when a user inputs a skip command while it is indicated that the skip can be made by the 1st means.
