PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine which facilitates confirmation of an image equivalent to an output image outputted by a receiver side facsimile machine even after transmission. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine is configured in such a way that the facsimile machine stores information with respect to the resolution of transmitted image information together with the transmitted image information, so that an image equivalent to an outputted image by the receiver side facsimile machine can be confirmed even after the transmission of the image information. Concretely, the transmitted image is displayed on an image area 89 with the resolution of the transmitted image. Further, the image converted into an image with various magnification factors can be confirmed by printing the image by the transmitter side facsimile machine by touching a print command button 92, or retransmitting the image information by touching a re-transmission command button 93, or touching a magnification change command button 91.
