PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object labeling method effective when imparting a large number and various kinds of labels in response to requirement, even onto a minute object such as a fine particulate base body used in immobilization of a probe molecule used in bioassay, for example. SOLUTION: The large number and various kinds of labels are imparted in response to the requirement, even onto the minute object, by using a labeling material prepared according to a composition condition of contained atoms corresponding to at least binary system n-place of numeral information, using the kind number n of a plurality of kinds of atoms selected preliminarily as one portion of a material constituting the minute object, and using the presence of a content in an individual of the selected atoms or a level of the content.
