PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address paper mounting apparatus which enables simplification, miniaturization and cost reduction of the constitution of the apparatus and can surely position and mount address paper at a prescribed position of a printed paper bundle. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a conveying means 3 which conveys the address paper D to a standby position above a newspaper bundle S, an address paper holding member 55 of which the portion holding the address paper D is formed of an elastic member 55b which is deformed elastically on contact with the newspaper bundle S, a driver 51 which engages with the address paper holding member 55 and moves it upward and downward, while lowering this member 55 toward the top of the newspaper bundle S at a speed not allowing the address paper D to come off from the member 55, and an engagement canceling means which cancels the engagement of the driver 51 with the address paper holding member 55 when this member 55 comes into contact with the newspaper bundle S.
