PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor for wet development excellent in workability and having high sensitivity and high solvent resistance to hydrocarbon solvents, and an image forming apparatus for wet development equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor for wet development is obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer containing at least a binder resin, a charge transport agent and a charge generating agent on a conductive substrate, wherein the binder resin is a polycarbonate resin containing at least a structural unit represented by formula (I).
