PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing bag excellent in shock-resistance in falling or the like, moreover, excellent in function of self-standing property of the container, which should be required essentially. SOLUTION: The self-standing bag is provided with a pair of flat sections, a tubular bag body section having two side face sections folded inwardly in the shape of a folded pleat and a bottom forming sheet for sealing the opening section of one side of this bag body section, a sticking section is formed in a position corresponding to the four corners of this self-standing bag when formed as the self-standing bag by composing the pair of the flat sections and the two side face sections with respective different members, and by sticking the side edges of respective members composing both of these planar sections and the side face sections.
