PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a drying capacity of a washing machine with a drying function which dries a washing by ventilating the inside of an inner tank. SOLUTION: At the back side of an inner shutter 20 which opens and closes an aperture 21 of an outer tank cover 19, a groove section 35 to extend from a part adjacent to a draft hole 24 which is an air outlet of a ventilation apparatus 11 to the inside of the inner tank 7 is formed. Thereby, although the air from the ventilation apparatus 11 is supplied to the inside of the outer tank 5 at the beginning, the air passes through the groove section 35 while the outward diffusion is constrained by the groove section 35 and is guided to the inside of the inner tank 7 afterwards to be supplied to the inside of the inner tank 7 efficiently.
