PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing jig for use in a machine tool, which can firmly fix longitudinal work targets irrespective of their category. SOLUTION: The fixing jig 1 is used for a machine tool 100 in which longitudinal work target 200 with the same cross section shapes are laterally placed and processed in that condition. This jig is provided with a case body 12, of which the side facing the longitudinal work target 200 is opened, and which is a rectangular shape and has an air inlet H on the side opposite to an open port FF; a plurality of rectangular slide panels 11, which are accumulated/stored in the case body 12 and pushed toward the open port FF when air A is injected through the air inlet H; and a slide panel-pressurization mechanism 13, which is installed above the case body 12 and designed to press the slide panels so that these panels does not move.
