<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device for a fuel cell to properly control the temperature and humidity of the air supplied to the fuel cell 1. <P>SOLUTION: This humidifying device for a fuel cell has a compressor 2 for taking in the air to compress it and supplying the compressed air to the fuel cell 1, a water injecting valve 3 to inject water into the air intake of the compressor 2, a humidifier 6 disposed at the upstream of the compressor 2 to move moisture to the air supplied to the fuel cell 1 from the much moist air discharged from the fuel cell 1, a condenser 12 to collect water from the much moist air discharged from the fuel cell 1, and a control unit 9 to set the operating pressure of the fuel cell 1 corresponding to the required output of an engine by a humidification request map requested by the fuel cell 1, the performance map of the humidifier 6, a map for the quantity of water which can be injected to the compressor 6, and the quantity of water collected by the condenser 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
