<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for producing a highly fine and high electrically conductive silver image by removing a non-image part from a silver oxide film on a support or a method for producing a silver oxide image, from which the silver image can be easily obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The silver oxide image is formed by removing some part of silver oxide from the coating silver oxide film by a laser beam ablation. then, by heat-treating the silver oxide image, the silver oxide image is converted to the silver image. Since this method is a dry process, the development of waste liquid can be suppressed. In addition, by properly adjusting the energy of the laser beam, both the removal of the non-image part and the conversion of the silver oxide of an image part to silver are performed simultaneously, resulting in realizing the efficient production of the silver image from the silver oxide coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
