<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with increase in the capacity in a transformer, by simplifying a breather provided in the outer case of a street installated type transformer device. <P>SOLUTION: While positioning at each upper portion of three spaces formed by the outer case 2 and side plates 5a, 5b, 5c in a transformer tank 3, a first U-shaped ventilation hole 91 is formed on the upper surface 6a of a ceiling board 6 in the outer case. A second ventilation hole 92 is formed along the first U-shaped breather 91 in a collar 6b, provided downwardly at the periphery of the ceiling board.
