<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform work at a feeding side and a receiving side without placing a baggage on a working base or the like when the baggage is transported by a dumb waiter. <P>SOLUTION: Car doors 3a, 3b for opening/closing an opening 2 at a front surface of a car 1; taking out/storage port doors 6a, 6b for opening/closing taking out/storage ports 5 at respective floors of a building are electrically interlocked to perform opening/closing. Foot switches 10 are provided near the taking out/storage ports 5 of the respective floors and even if a worker has the baggage by both hands, the foot switch 10 is operated to call the car 1 to the own floor and open/close the car doors 3a, 3b and the taking out/storage port doors 6a, 6b.
