<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently disperse a load to a memory, and to improve the efficiency of a memory access when an image is divided and processed. <P>SOLUTION: An image-input processing section 11 divides an original image into a plurality of regions and generates divided original images, and disperses so as not to arrange the brightness data and color difference data of the same divided original images in the same storage region and writes the data to an encoding-side memory section 12. An encoding section 13 divides a reference image so that an information required for the predicting encoding of the divided original images is contained when the predicting encoding is conducted, and generates and stores divided reference images. A decoding section 21 divides and decodes input encoding data and generates divided decoding data, and disperses the brightness data and color-difference data of the same divided decoding data so as not to disperse in the same storage region, and writes the data to a decoding-side memory section 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
