<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-free, flame-retardant, thin count polyimide film useful as a heat-insulating material in airplane uses. <P>SOLUTION: This flame retardant film is characterized by comprising (A) a base polyimide matrix containing at least 87 to 97 wt.% of a polyimide polymer having one or more imide portions in the main chain of the polymer, and (B) a flame-retardant additive dispersed in the base polyimide matrix in an amount of 3 to 15 wt.% (based on the total weight of the flame retardant composite material), and having a thickness of 8 to 45μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
