PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system capable of effectively performing a small-lot print and image output for proofing by a single image outputting device. SOLUTION: The image output system 1 comprises a color laser printer 200 (an image outputting device) for outputting an image for print based on image data to recording paper P with a prescribed output setting value; a control unit 100 for transmitting the image data to the color laser printer 200; a corrector 113 for correcting the output setting value of the color laser printer 200, when the image for print based on the image data is the image for proofing; and an image output section 220 that is provided in the color laser printer 200, and uses the output setting value corrected by the corrector 113 for outputting the image for print based on the image data to the recording paper P.
