PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-band loop antenna which has a simple structure, is easily sealed for corrosion prevention, and reduced in quantity of projection from the reverse side of a reflector. SOLUTION: A plurality of loop antenna elements 12 installed on the reflector 11 are separated into two groups, and the loop antenna is equipped with: one parallel conductor 13 which connects loop antenna elements of each group to one another on the top side of the reflector 11; one balance-unbalance converter circuit 15 connected to one position of the parallel conductor 13; and a feed terminal 16 which is provided on the reverse side of the reflector 11 to connect the balance-unbalance converter circuit to an unbalance line. Thus, the one parallel conductor 13 connecting the loop antenna elements 12 in each group to one another is provided on the top surface of the reflector 11 and one balance-unbalance converter circuit 15 is connected to the center part of the parallel conductor 13, so that only one balance-unbalance converter circuit 15 is required. The structure of the antenna never becomes complex and sealing is easily performed. Further, a coaxial line 17 of the balance-unbalance converter circuit 15 is only extended and connected to the feed terminal 16 on the reverse side of the reflector 11, so the quantity of projection from the reverse side of the reflector 11 is reduced and the wide-band loop antenna is installable anywhere.
