PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal network control apparatus capable of surely setting a caller ID function by transmitting setting data for validating the caller ID function to a TA. SOLUTION: The terminal network control apparatus makes a call to a center side apparatus to acquire the setting data for validating the caller ID function. The terminal network control apparatus transmits the setting data to the TA in a form of a PB signal, and the TA effectively sets the caller ID function. When the TA calls the terminal network control apparatus through an ISDN line, the terminal network control apparatus detects whether or not a call signal from the TA is a pre-ringer signal so as to confirm whether or not the caller ID function of the TA is effective. When the caller ID function is not effective, the terminal network control apparatus revises transmission timing of the setting data and retransmits the setting data to the TA to set the TA.
