PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring substrate preventing electrostatic breakdown, and to provide a display apparatus suppressing defective display. SOLUTION: A TFT array substrate 100 is provided with a notched part 110 near the position where a gate transmission wiring 105 and a common transmission wiring 107 intersect, and the notched part 110 is provided with an electrostatic breakdown preventing part 200. By making the corner section of the notched part 110 obtuse angle or arcuate, concentration of electric charge at the corner section is suppressed, and occurrence of electrostatic breakdown by ESD can be prevented.
