PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data linkage system that does not require development of linkage software between data sources at user level. SOLUTION: The data linkage system comprises an adapter having an adapter interface ai for accepting commands defined by abstract concepts of "put data" and "get data" and outputting an object stereotyped as a "result", and a script processor. The "put data" is a command specifying a function to receive an object stereotyped as "data" from the script processor.
