PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical display capable of easily correcting instantaneous operation data in the case of their deviation from target operation data and performing driving control. SOLUTION: Detected operation data represent the operation temperature of a light source or organic light emitting diode and/or the total operation time of the light source and/or the driving current of the light source or organic light emitting diode and/or the lightness of the light source or organic light emitting diode, and a control unit compares the detected data with the target operation data stored as a characteristic curve or target value to perform correction control by tracking the driving current of the light source or organic light emitting diode and/or varying pulse-width modulation of the light source or organic light emitting diode and/or correcting a color value stored in a graphics memory of a graphics control part of the electrooptical display.
