PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electric characteristics, lubricity, surface releasability and durability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer on a conductive supporting body, wherein the outermost layer of the photoreceptor is formed by a coating method using a coating liquid containing a polyolefin dispersion which is prepared by dissolving polyolefin in a solvent and cooling the solution.
