PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a control circuit configuration to reduce the cost in light emission luminance control based on pulse width control for a light emitting diode color display panel. SOLUTION: The light emitting diode color display panel and a lighting control circuit built in the light emitting diode color display panel for use are used to perform drive for lighting in order to emit light in an ideal color on the light emitting diode color display panel in accordance with a color driving signal given from the outside, and the luminous intensity of lighting is measured by a photoelectric transducer to eliminate the variance of the luminous intensity of light emission, and transition points of a control signal in time series per control object element are preliminarily obtained in light emission luminance control based on pulse width control, and an interval value of the obtained transition times is set to a pulse width control counter, and a lighting driving signal is updated at the time of a carry of the counter, and thus the control circuit configuration can be simplified to reduce the cost.
