PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing device capable of completely preventing mixing of foreign articles into vent pipes, which generate in maintenance and checking works performed inside a reactor containment during regular inspection by curing the openings of vent pipes and its covers when the reactor containment is opened in the regular inspection. SOLUTION: The curing device of vent pipe opening has covers on a plurality of cover holders stood on the spherical bottom of the reactor containment, the curing device is constituted of a plurality of split curing sheets. The curing sheets are made of fire retardant materials which form oblong rectangular shape and have side connection means for connecting with adjacent curing sheets on both sides. The curing sheets also have means for fixing to the bottom of the reactor containment at the lower edge. Both side edges of each curing sheet are connected with each other by the side connection means. The upper fringe of the curing sheet is fixed to the cover with the fixing means. The lower edge is also fixed to the reactor containment with the fixing means in one body. The vent pipe opening is made capable of completely sealing from outside of the cover holders.
