PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gun firearm for firing a low lethal rate of projectile, based on a kinematical effect of the projectile to a target, and a method therefor. SOLUTION: This gun firearm of the low lethal rate is provided with a firing device 12 for the projectile, and a device 13 adapted to regulate a velocity of the projectile in a muzzle in a gun barrel, and for regulating the velocity of the projectile, and is provided further means 17, 19 for making gas flow out from an inside of the gun barrel 16 in the firing device 12, and the gas flowing-out means 17, 19 are able to be split.
