PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of an opening in a housing excellent in appearance, lighting and ventilation, control of heat transmission into or out of the interior of rooms, insulation of sounds from outside and effective internal use of an area around the opening. SOLUTION: The structure of the opening of the housing according to this invention includes openings provided on walls, etc., the layers of heat insulating materials provided outside the walls, etc. around the openings, and opening parts such as sashes protruding from the external surface of the walls by means of corbelled members and connecting with the heat insulating materials.
