PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely install a fire resistant plate superior in fire resistant performance without forming a bolt hole in a steel segment, in a fire resistant plate installing structure to a segment, particularly, the steel segment laid, for example, as a lining of an excavated tunnel inside surface. SOLUTION: An adjusting metal fitting 2 is installed on a reinforcing rib 13 of the steel segment 1 laid in a tunnel T so as to sandwich the rib 13, and the fire resistant plate 5 is installed and supported via a locking metal fitting 4 on and by a fire resistant plate support metal fitting 3 installed on its adjusting metal fitting 2.
