MOTION SICKNESS RELIEVING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion sickness relieving apparatus capable of relieving motion sickness. SOLUTION: The motion sickness relieving apparatus is provided with an occupant state detecting part 1 for detecting the state of an occupant in a vehicle; a determining part 2 for determining whether or not the state of the occupant detected by the occupant state detecting part 1 is a motion sick state; a meridian point detecting part 3 for detecting the meridian point position of the occupant according to meridian point position information; a countermeasure part 4 for taking a countermeasure against motion sickness of the occupant by stimulating the occupant's meridian point when the state of the occupant is determined to be a state caused by motion sickness by the determining part 2. A change in the occupant's physical condition is thereby found early to stimulate the meridian point, thus relieving motion sickness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
