PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing equipment which has a solvent absorbing body being capable of absorbing a solvent with which a rubber layer of a blanket is impregnated, without damaging or contaminating the surface of the rubber layer, and which can perform excellent printing with stableness and high precision on the occasion when printing is repeated. SOLUTION: The solvent absorbing body 2 which is used herein and brought into contact with the rubber layer 11 of the blanket 1 to absorb the solvent is formed of a rubber material which contains a rubber and does not contain a plasticizer having no reactivity with the rubber, nor an aging preventing agent. The rubber material may also contain a plasticizer having reactivity with the rubber. In the case when the blanket 1 is formed in the shape of a roll, the solvent absorbing body 2 is preferably formed in the shape of the roll or an endless belt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
