<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving device and a remote control unit that can obtain information on all broadcasting stations in standby mode without turning on an internal power source of a receiver main body. <P>SOLUTION: A remote control transmitter 1 includes a tuner part 13 which receives digital broadcasts, and a control part 14 which analyzes data relating to programs from information on the received digital broadcasts, stores the analyzed data in a nonvolatile memory 15, and transmits the stored data to a terrestrial digital broadcast receiver 2 according to a user's indication. The digital broadcast receiver 2 performs control to compare the data sent from the remote control transmitter 1 with the data stored in the nonvolatile memory 24 and then update the data when the transmitted data are new. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
