<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run capable of suppressing floating of the glass run and enhancing the appearance quality. <P>SOLUTION: The glass run 2 is mounted on a car door having a door glass G. The glass run 2 comprises a body part 13 of substantially U-shaped section mounted on a sash S, a pair of seal lips 14, 15 to seal the door glass G, a cover lip 18 set to cover an edge portion of a garnish 8 in an overlapping manner, and an in-cabin side auxiliary lip 19 provided to be turned around the outer side of an in-cabin side wall part Sa of the sash S. The wall thickness of the in-cabin side auxiliary lip 19 is set to be the thickness W1 equal to the width W1 of a gap between the in-cabin side wall part Sa and the garnish 8.
