<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air bag device capable of appropriately controlling the deploying and inflating position of an air bag when the air bag is deployed and inflated. <P>SOLUTION: The side air bag device 22 is equipped with the air bag 26 deployed and inflated by the gas fed from an inflator 25 between the body side part of a vehicle and a driver etc. P seated on the front seat 21 installed in the cabin.
