<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of pieces of image data that can be provided to a terminal side, and moreover, to inexpensively provide data in a system wherein image data can be retrieved at the terminal side. <P>SOLUTION: A system comprises a control center 2 and a number of terminal devices 4, and is capable of searching an image database of the control center 2, in response to a search request from a terminal device and reading desired image data on the side of the terminal device 4. In such a system, a supply type terminal device, capable of supplying image data, is used as the terminal device. Thus, image data can be supplied from a supply type terminal device to another terminal device via the control center 2, and further, for the supply type terminal that provides the image data, provision charges of image data are subtracted from the system usage charges. As a result, the number of subscribers using the supply type terminal devices can be increased, the kinds of image data that can be provided in the system can be increased and image data can be provided inexpensively with respect to the terminal devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
