<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum signal receiver capable of carrying out code phase tracking by extracting only a transition point of a PN code included in a spread spectrum signal. <P>SOLUTION: A code C transition point restoration section 58 calculates values CTI, CTQ on the basis of integrated correlation values a'PI, a'TI, b'PI, b'TI, a'TQ and b'TQ including first transition point information a'T of a code a' detected by a first transition point detection section 46 and second transition point information b'T of a code b' detected by a second transition point detection section 48 and uses a result of sum of the values CTI and CTQ for a transition point of a code C.
