<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical printer head which facilitates the mounting of a light emitting element array chip and a head substrate and can easily achieve the electrical connection between a connecting terminal electrode of the light emitting element array chip and a wiring pattern of the head substrate, and a method of manufacturing the optical printer head and an optical printer. <P>SOLUTION: This optical printer head comprises the light emitting element array chip 1 consisting of a plurality of light emitting elements 10 disposed, a head substrate 2 with the light emitting element array chips 1 mounted in rows and a drive IC 3 electrically connected with the light emitting elements 10 also mounted, and housings 6 and 8 which accommodate the head substrate 2 and have a rod lens array 7 for supplying light to the outside from the light emitting elements 10. In addition, a wiring pattern 21 for connecting each light emitting element 10 with the drive IC 3 is formed on the surface of the head substrate 2, and connecting terminal electrodes 13 and 14 extend to the edge face of the light emitting element array chip 1 and are connected with the specified wiring pattern 21 by a conductive adhesive member 4 at an angular part formed of the surfaces of the edge face of the light emitting element array chip 1 and the head substrate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
