<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal module of a direct backlight system, provided with a hook and a through hole at a diffusion sheet attaching part of a casing and that is capable of preventing invasion of dust from an external part to a space between a liquid crystal panel and a diffusion plate through the through hole. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal module, the diffusion plate is formed at a peripheral part of an inner wall on the front side of the casing and fixed between the hook part, having a taper formed on its front surface side and a frame part for attachment, the through hole penetrating from the inner wall to the outer wall of the casing is formed in the vicinity of the hook part, a cylindrical rib is formed at a circumferential edge part of a through hole aperture part formed at the outer wall of the casing; a boss is formed in the vicinity of the cylindrical rib, lengths from the bases to the tip ends of the cylindrical rib and the boss are nearly equal to each other, inclined angles of tip end surfaces of the cylindrical rib and the boss are nearly equal to each other in the horizontal direction; and a substrate is supported by the tip end surfaces of the cylindrical rib and the boss and the substrate and the boss sandwich a rear frame and are screwed up so as to cover the through hole aperture part formed at the outer wall of the casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
