<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing cost of a spherical-shaped roller as a complete product with which a troublesome preparing work is not necessary and the shape of an intermediate preform applying a plastic processing to a blank is made to the shape near the complete product and a machining allowance with a finishing work to this intermediate preform is made to little. <P>SOLUTION: It is prevented that the outer diameter at both end parts in the axial direction 15 by inserting both end parts in the axial direction of the above blank 15 into respective round hole parts 20, 20 formed in one pair of metallic molds 18a, 18b. Under this state, one pair of punches 21, 21 are pushed in mutually approaching direction against both end surfaces in the axial direction of the blank 15 and recessed parts 7, 7 are formed on both end surfaces in the axial direction. Thereafter, the above punches 21, 21 are further approached and a metal material constituted of the above blank 15 is fluidized to the outer part in the diameter direction and this material is filled into the recessed parts 19, 19 for forming the roller surface to form the portion as the roller surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
