PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for a bicycle transmission having an improved operability. SOLUTION: The shift control device is equipped with a mounting member, a first lever and a second lever. The mounting member can be mounted in a bicycle. The first lever is operatively coupled to the mounting member so as to move on a first plane and stops at a plurality of positions corresponding to gear positions of the bicycle transmission. The second lever is operatively coupled to the mounting member so as to move between a rest position and an operating position on a second plane substantially parallel to the first plane and returns to the rest position after moving to the operating position.
