PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-configured proximity sensor which can inhibit any crosstalk between transmitting device and receiving device. SOLUTION: This one embodiment-based method comprises a step to mount both the transmitting device and the receiving device on a substrate which contains a layer masking wave radiated from the transmitting device, a step to process and form a structure so that the 1st compartment for the transmitting device and the 2nd compartment for the receiving device are separated each other by common barrier to be successive with at least a part of the common barrier, and a step to mount the structure on the substrate.
