摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner excellent in charging characteristics and having a uniform shape and a narrow particle size distribution, and to provide a toner manufacturing method and a toner manufacturing apparatus by which the toner can be efficiently manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. SOLUTION: In the toner manufacturing method in which the toner is manufactured using a dispersion liquid in which a dispersoid containing a resin material is dispersed in a dispersion medium and which contains a dispersant having a function to improve the dispersibility of the dispersoid, a wavelengthλ<SB>1</SB>[nm] at which absorbance in an ultraviolet range with respect to the dispersant becomes maximum is longer than a wavelengthλ<SB>2</SB>[nm] at which absorbance in the ultraviolet range with respect to the resin material becomes maximum, and after discharging the dispersion as a liquid drop-like discharge, the discharge is exposed to ultraviolet radiation. The dispersion medium consists mainly of water and/or liquid excellent in compatibility with water. A peak wavelength of the ultraviolet radiation for exposure is preferably 200-400 nm.
