PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image recording/reproducing apparatus, capable of extracting a required static image from a moving image to be reproduced and directly printing out the static image extracted. SOLUTION: The moving image recording/reproducing apparatus for reproducing a moving image consisting of a plurality of still images arranged in time series and extracting a required still image from these still images is provided with: a connection part 6, to which an image forming apparatus is connected; a juxtaposed image generating part 25e for generating juxtaposed images obtained by contacting and juxtaposing a plurality of still images arranged, before and after the moment that a specification button 5d is depressed, when the specification button 5d is depressed in the reproducing of the moving image; a receiving means for receiving the selection of the still image required for image formation, i.e. printing from the juxtaposed images displayed; and an output means for outputting the data of the received still images from the connection part 6 to the image forming apparatus B.
