摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently heat even an annular metallic body with a small diameter or a bulky metallic body having no hole, by an induced electric current originating in an alternate magnetic flux. <P>SOLUTION: This heating method comprises the steps of: placing a magnetic plate 6 made from iron on a lower I-type core 4; placing the metallic body 7 to be heated thereon which is a small bearing; placing a magnetic plate 5 made from iron thereon; further arranging an I-type core 3 so as to press the magnetic plates 5 and 6 and the metallic body 7 to be heated to the lower I-type core 4 from above; and then, operating a power supply 8 to apply an alternating current to a coil 2. Then, the I-type cores 3 and 4 are adsorbed to an open end 1a of a U-shaped core 1 with magnetic force; the magnetic plates 5 and 6 are adsorbed to the I-type cores 3 and 4 with the magnetic force; and the magnetic flux caused by the coil 2 passes through the U-shaped core 1, the I-type cores 3 and 4, the magnetic plates 5 and 6 and the metallic body 7 to directly and strongly heat the metallic body 7 with the induced current by the increased magnetic flux, and to heat the magnetic plates 5 and 6 with generated heat by the induced current caused by the magnetic flux, and consequently transmits the heat to the metallic body 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
