PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more flexibly record a broadcasting program or the like and to also easily and accurately manage the recording. SOLUTION: Among a plurality of recording devices 1(1), 1(2) and 1(3) connected to the same network, in the recording device 1(1) of a reservation source which directly receives reservation information from a user, when reservation information overlapping even partially in broadcasting hours is received, the recording device 1(3) of another recording device connected to the same network and capable of accepting the reservation information overlapping in the recording device of the reservation source is defined as a recording device of a reservation destination, the reservation information is transferred to the recording device of the reservation destination so as to substitutively record the broadcasting program.
