PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing program, and an image processing method for preventing occurrence of gradation jump and hue deviation in a dark part. SOLUTION: The image processing method comprises: a step S31 of confirming whether or not a grid to the color axis of which an improper value is set exists, and confirming whether or not a value Xc is greater than 0 because a maximum value of the improper grid is set to the Xc as stated above and 0 is set to the Xc when no improper grid exists; a step S36 of confirming whether or not the processing is finished for all the axes because no correction for the color axis is required when not in existence; a step S32 of setting 1 to a variable n when a value greater than 0 is set to the Xc (Yes in S31); and a step S33 of carrying out linear interpolation arithmetic operations on the basis of a 0-th grid value and a value of a grid of Xc+1 being a grid next to the grid with a maximum value, that is, an improper value of the color axis and obtaining a correction value.
