PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device and an information reproduction method for displaying images by selectively superimposing two kinds of the subimage information of a high resolution and a standard resolution on high resolution main image information. SOLUTION: There are provided first image information outputting means 201-203, 210-212 for superimposing first subimage information of a high resolution on the main image information of a high resolution according to a requested image output form; and second image information outputting means 204-212 for superimposing the second subimage information of a low resolution, where the main image information of a high resolution is converted to that of a low resolution for outputting according to the requested image output form.
