PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device whose manufacturing and assembling costs can be reduced by arranging a ground line on the back of the image display device, without using any complicated member and a method for fitting the ground line to the image display device. SOLUTION: The 1st end 21 of the ground line 2 is engaged with an engagement projecting part 111, and the 2nd end 22 of the ground line 2 is engaged with an engagement projecting part 112 via a tension spring 3; and a heat radiation plate 5 is fitted to a cabinet 4 and also grounded, and a portion of the ground line 2 is engaged.
