PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for enhancing the external notification of the occurrence of troubles and authenticity in a memory dump. SOLUTION: There are provided a main program in troubles to be executed when the troubles occur, and a subprogram in troubles to be executed when the troubles occur during the execution of the main program in the troubles. The main program in troubles comprises a trouble notification function for notifying an external device that is connected via an information transmission medium of the occurrence of troubles, and a first memory dump function for copying contents stored in a volatile memory 2 to a non-volatile memory 3. The subprogram in troubles has a second memory dump function for copying contents stored in the volatile memory 2 and the main program in troubles to the non-volatile memory 3.
