PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving apparatus which can perform focusing and switching photographing positions without turning the lens while miniaturizing the footprint. SOLUTION: This lens driving apparatus is built to support the lens frame 10 holding the lens G in a fixed frame 20 so that it can move only in the direction of the optical axis L, and to engage the female screw 31 inside the focusing ring 30 with the male screw 11 formed on the outer surface of the lens frame 10 while making the focusing ring 30 support the switch ring 40 in a way free to turn. Further, it adheres the focusing ring 30 with the switch ring 40 after focusing by turning the focusing ring 30 so that the photographing position can be changed by turning the switch ring 40 and the focusing ring 30 at the same time. Accordingly, the space can be reduced for the focusing ring 30 and the switch ring 40 while regulating the turn of the lens frame 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
