PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control a choke valve by stabilizing the operation of a temperature sensitive part without being influenced by load fluctuation in an auto choke device of a carburetor. SOLUTION: This auto choke device of the carburetor includes: a temperature sensitive part 25 disposed in a heating part of an engine E; and an output part 26 connecting the temperature sensitive part 25 and a choke valve 19 of the carburetor C to each other to open the choke valve 19 in response to the heat receiving operation of the temperature sensitive part 25. The temperature sensitive part 25 is disposed close to an intake port 6i formed on a cylinder head 4 of the engine E. The peripheral part of the intake port 6i is always cooled by intake air flowing through the intake port 6i, so that the temperature sensitive part 25 disposed close to the intake port 6i can have a temperature characteristic corresponding to the progress of the warm-up operation without any influence of load fluctuation of the engine, and the opening of the choke valve can be always controlled properly.
